I think you just about covered the main uses of my watch. I use a face that has the time, the day & date, my calendar (showing time and location of next appointment), my basic activity stats for the day, and the current temperature. On top of that I’ll get notifications from iMessage and a handful of other apps throughout the day. I’ll also occasionally use the watch as my conduit to Siri to add something to my task management system (“Hey Siri, in Things remind me to review Jurriaan’s article”).

I haven’t used Google’s iOS calendar app in a long time. I know the last time I checked it out I didn’t like how low the information density was on it (something I think Fantastical does a great job with). I might have to try it out again since it has been a long time and I already use Google as the backend to my calendar system.
